Vashon is an island characterized by its natural beauty and uniquely rich arts scene. Running through its verdant forests, bucolic pastures and majestic vistas is a spirit that inspires musicians to call this place their home.

One guitar tells the stories of some of our Island’s most talented musicians, challenging them to create an original song in one week. Influenced by the greats such as Sarah Vaughan, Carmen McRae and Dianne Reeves, Kienzle has an attention to detail that employs both intuition and careful study and, whether performing her own arrangement of a song or singing on a standard form, her own sound is evident to the listener.

The experience of Eric Apoe is a walk through a cinematic time capsule, his lyrical masterworks chill the soul and enlighten the mind. Eric Apoe’s songwriting crosses genres like fiberoptic cable crosses the world. The song is the focus not the style, the song decides the style it desires to exist in.
